YBHG. DATO’ IDRIS BIN KECHOT

Dato’ Idris brings extensive experience across the unit trust and investment management value chain. He has made significant contributions as a board member of several large corporations across diverse industries, and has held senior leadership roles where he drove innovation and led key initiatives to achieve strategic, financial, and operational objectives.

He has a strong track record of leadership, having played a pivotal role in delivering strategic growth, revenue, and profitability targets during his tenure at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), where he served as Executive Vice-President, Unit Trust/Head & Executive Director of Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad as well as Deputy President & Group Chief Operating Officer, Asset Management, PNB.

Dato’ Idris has previously served on the boards of Malayan Banking Berhad and Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad. He currently sits on the board of SD Guthrie Berhad and serves as Chairman of Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd and Kumpulan Fima Berhad.
