ENCIK MALIK PARVEZ AHMAD BIN NAZIR AHMAD

En. Malik Parvez Ahmad bin Nazir Ahmad, a Malaysian aged 54, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the Trustee-Manager. He was appointed to the Board on 19 October 2023 and previously served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) before being redesignated as a Non-Executive Director effective 3 February 2025.
En. Malik graduated in 1992 from the International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
With over 30 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and financial reporting, he began his career in 1992 as an Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick (now KPMG), handling audit, business advisory, and taxation matters, where he was promoted to Senior Auditor in 1996.
He then moved to Medtexx Partners Inc., a U.S.-based corporation, as a Financial Controller (1998–2002), overseeing financial management, reporting, and taxation matters. From 2002 to 2004, he was the Financial Controller at D.B.E. Group of Companies, focusing on D.B.E. Poultry Sdn. Bhd. and playing a key role in the listing of D.B.E Gurney Berhad.
In 2004, he joined Latexx Partners Berhad as Group Financial Officer, leading the company’s restructuring efforts, managing finance, accounting, due diligence, and operational matters, and playing a pivotal role in debt settlement negotiations. Post-restructuring, he was responsible for financial reporting to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and securing financing for working capital and expansion plans.
In 2008, En. Malik joined PLKH Group as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer (Commercial and Finance) in 2016. On 4 December 2023, he resigned from PLKH Group and assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Trustee-Manager on the same date. Following recent leadership changes, he was redesignated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director effective 3 February 2025.
En. Malik brings extensive expertise in financial management, corporate strategy, and restructuring, and continues to contribute to the strategic direction of the Trustee-Manager in his capacity as a Board member.
